Deskeo designs the new offices for IHG Hotels & Resorts

IHG Hotels & Resorts recently commissioned Deskeo to completely renovate its Paris offices on Rue Mogador in the 9th arrondissement of Paris.

The goal: to transform a historic space into a showcase of high-end design, in keeping with the group’s standards of excellence. A challenge met with elegance and precision!

As a global leader in luxury and premium hospitality, IHG Hotels & Resorts manages some of the world’s most prestigious brands (InterContinental, Kimpton, Six Senses, and others). With a culture rooted in the art of hospitality, the group needed a Paris headquarters that reflected its promise: to deliver an exceptional experience.

A collaboration focused on excellence

Based in its offices in the 9th arrondissement for over twenty years, IHG took advantage of a comprehensive renovation of its building to completely redesign its workspace. Our Design & Build team orchestrated this transformation over the course of a year, with a clear mission: to infuse the principles of luxury hospitality into a productive and collaborative work environment.

The office space, a true architectural gem located at the corner of Rue Mogador and Rue Saint-Lazare, boasts a breathtaking view of the Church of the Trinity. It was this panorama and the Haussmannian heritage that inspired the project. The design features flowing curves that guide employees from a versatile lobby to a spacious open area with about thirty workstations.

Design with an Eye for Detail

To reflect IHG’s "high-end" identity, the choice of materials was crucial:

• Contrasts and Textures: The flooring alternates between the mineral-like quality of Dolmix Terrazzo tiles and the acoustic comfort of Desso Urquiola carpet.
• Organic elegance: Curved partitions structure the space, warmed by deep walnut tones and accented with touches of black for a chic, contemporary look.
• Smart layout: Special attention was paid to traffic flow, notably with the creation of an elegant buffer zone between the restrooms and living areas, discreetly incorporating storage and printing facilities.

A custom-designed space for 32 employees

The new 330-square-meter space was designed to offer a unique range of uses:

• Reception: A grand boardroom seating 14 people to welcome clients and partners in absolute comfort.
• Productivity: A spacious, well-lit open-plan area with 30 workstations, complemented by a flexible workspace.
• Collaboration: A 6-person meeting room and 5 2-person rooms for private work or small-group collaboration.
