National Office Day 2025: What if you changed the air for a day?

What if you could work... without going to the office? That's the slightly crazy but decidedly exciting idea behind the National Office Day, returning for its 4th edition on Wednesday 11 June 2025.

Organised by Ubiq, the day offers a principle as simple as it is energising: work anywhere except your usual office. The aim? To break the routine, open up new perspectives, and rethink your relationship with your work environment.

An initiative to reinvent the daily life of workers

Launched in 2021 under the name "Journée sans bureau", this initiative quickly became a date to look forward to for professionals seeking a change. Employees, freelancers, directors... everyone is invited to settle, for one day, in an alternative venue to work in a different setting.

Parks, rooftops, art galleries, unique cafés, coworking spaces: over 2,000 workstations are made available free of charge across France.

Far from being just a publicity stunt, this event asks a real question: what does a fulfilling workspace look like in 2025?

Why change your work environment?

The reason this initiative is so appealing is because it meets a fundamental need. Since remote working became commonplace, expectations have shifted: flexibility, wellbeing, social connection, and stimulation have become keystones of workplace performance.
