When Weinberg Capital Partners entrusted us with the upper floors of the Grande Arche, it wasn’t simply a matter of renovating office spaces. The challenge lay elsewhere: breathing new life into empty, weathered spaces while respecting the architectural integrity of the site. A rare project at the heart of an iconic landmark in La Défense, where every detail counts.

The project

At the heart of La Défense’s most iconic landmark, Deskeo has transformed the upper floors of Otto von Spreckelsen’s Grande Arche into a workspace and event venue.

Designed as a natural extension of the perfect 110 × 110 × 110-meter cube, this project engages directly with the Danish architect’s rigorous geometry: the original structural grid becomes the organizing principle for all the interior design. Abundant light, panoramic views of Paris, and premium materials come together to create a setting that is both monumental and intimate, where the architectural legacy of the 1980s meets the contemporary demands of the flex-office.

The interiors feature a minimalist, respectful design. Acoustic carpeting, pastel-colored walls, exposed concrete ceilings, and warm wood accents highlight the power of the original structure while adding a human touch. The glass partitions and rows of desks strictly follow the building’s grid; the long corridors, punctuated by continuous linear lighting that echoes the original grid, occasionally widen into alcoves that subtly mark the crossings of the central core, while the meeting rooms with their massive wooden tables extend the orthogonal logic of the façade.

Every interior view highlights the monumental window grilles, transforming light and the urban landscape into vibrant decorative elements.

The result: a clean, open, and serene space, where the grandeur of the Arche feels welcoming without ever losing its identity.

And because transforming a space doesn’t mean starting from scratch, we incorporated some of the existing furniture—desks, meeting chairs—to give it a new lease on life in a completely redesigned setting.

A project that is technical, distinctive, and deeply collaborative, illustrating our mission at Deskeo: to create spaces as unique as the companies that occupy them.
